5 Months

Happy Easter!!! Nikki and I took the kiddies to have pictures done for Easter. I thought Wes was going to be GRUMPY he was ready for a nap, but he did really good.

Wow I can't believe on Friday Wes will be 5 months old. The time has gone so fast. It kind of makes me sad. These pictures make him look so much older. Joe and I have loved everyday we have had with out little guy. We are truly blessed with such a cute and precious child. Wes keeps growing everyday and learns something new every week. His personality is showing more and more everyday. I think we are going to have our hands full with this little one.

4 months & working with Mommy

It's been a while since I updated my blog. So this post is probably going to be a little long.

This is Wes in the cute little trucker hat I had to buy for him.
Here is my lil gangsta!!

I just love his little grin. He was talking away in his playpen. I walked over and happened to capture this cute face.

Wow I can't believe that Wes is 4 Months old. It has gone too fast. We have started feeding him solids. He did not like rice cereal the first time we fed it to him. He still isn't a big fan of the rice cereal. (Can't say I blame him). His favorite is foods so far Bananas. We tried peaches tonight but he wasn't too sure of those. We will keep trying.
Getting ready for my first bowl of cereal.

My first bite. YUCK

Another gross bite of cereal

After all is said and done I ate the whole bowl!!!

At times Wes makes a BIG Mess. He has it in his hair, eyes and even in between his toes. But he is becoming quite the pro at eating. He even likes to feed himself. (I don't know if like is the correct word, more like HAS TO feed himself)

As most of you know I have been so lucky to get the opportunity to take Wes with me to work. Some days I don't get much done, but I love having him there with me. We enjoy our days together and it is less worry for mom because he is not at a daycare. Nikki is done working and getting her house ready so she can babysit. I am going to be very sad :(. So will everyone at work. We will all miss having him there to brighten our day. He brightens my day every morning. I have been so blessed these last 4 months. It has been fun and a great chance for us to bond.
He likes to be my little helper. He even drools on my papers and files. He enjoys sitting on my lap and helping me type on the computer.

Work can be sooooo tiring. He crashed while playing on his playmate. He was so tired he didn't even take his hand off of the Zebra.

Welcome Home

Eric has finally made it home from Afganistan. His plane landed at 6:00 this morning. He wasn't supposed to arrive in SLC until 6:45 AM but they decided to leave Seattle early. So of course we missed seeing him land and get off the plane. We were running a little late anyway this morning. With two babies its hard to get up so early especially when one little boy would not sleep. But we were still able to see him and give him a big hug.
Boy has it has been one long crazy year without him. All the little things he missed. It was the first time he was able to see Wes. Eric laughed and said "he looks just like Joe". We have really missed having Eric around. Joe is so excited to see him and to spend time with him again. It's crazy the little things he has missed out on. Its great to have him home again. We really missed you Eric and we want to say THANK YOU for all that you have done and sacrificed for us so we can live in a free country. We appreciate what you have done and gone through for us.

As you can see there are no pictures for this post. Dumb me forgot to put the camera in my bag. (Like I said we were running a little behind.) But I will post pictures as soon as I can steal my mom's camera.

Welcome Home Eric!!!

Happy Valentines Day

So I am not big into Valentines Day. I don't know why. I am probably the only Female out there that doesn't care if her husband buys her flowers or chocolates or gets her a mushy card. I also don't like the two hour wait to get a table at a restaurant. This year we were just going to celebrate like we do every other year no gifts, staying home and ordering take out. But for some reason we decided to do a few little errands on Saturday. We went and looked at new carpet for Wes's bedroom. We of course found something we liked and they are coming to lay it. And then we decided just to look at this nice little Toy Hauler. Of course we bought it. We just couldn't pass up a good deal. So anyone up for camping this summer????

Here are a few pictures of our home away from home...

Superbowl & 3 month pictures

First I just have to say YEAH STEELERS Superbowl Champs #6 BABY!!!

Nikki and I took Wes & Victory to have pictures taken for Valentines Day. They did good it took us a while to take 6 different poses. One would start crying and them the other would cry.

Here they are talking to each other

He is just so dang cute. Look at those eyes

Here is my little love bug!

And here they are together enjoying their time in the tub.

Wow I can't believe Wes is already three months old. Time has gone too fast. Joe and I have certainly enjoyed every minute of it. We love to watch him grow and learn new things everyday. Each day it is something new. From the giggles to holding his head up and trying to sit on his own and now he is rolling over. My favorite part of the day is each morning I go in to get him out of his crib and he is all smiles. He always has the biggest smile for mom or dad. Even if that smile comes at 2:00 in the morning it melts my heart and I am no longer irrated that he is up in the middle of the night. We love you lil man!
