I changed my background just for Joe.

GO STEELERS

I love you honey!!

Fire Trucks and Fire School

My cousin Matt and his girlfriend Susan came down from Idaho Falls to help Nikki with her move . Joe wanted to take their boys to see the Fire Trucks. Cause all little kids (especially boys) love fire trucks. As you can see in this picture Brayden hated every minute of it. Tayven on the other loved the fire trucks. He climbed in and out and drove them (well pretended to anyways). He didn't want to leave.

Look at me I got to drive this big truck!!

Here is Tayven again playing on the trucks.
Joe let them play with the sirens on the truck at first they weren't sure if they liked it. It is kinda loud but after it was over they thought it was pretty cool.

FIRE SCHOOL
We ventured to St. George for fire school again this year. It is becoming a yearly tradition. Which is fine with me. The weather was great nice and warm, tempatures in the 60's no gross dirty air. It does make it hard to come home to the snow and 20 degree weather. Can't wait for next year.
Here is my lil man he has on a fire truck onsie. We had to represent!

Us sisters hanging out in the hotel room before dinner. (yummm all you can eat steak & prime rib)

Wes was being a turkey. He did not want to share. He was all cool playing on Victory's play mat by himself. jessie and I thought they should play together. we moved Wes over to fit Victory on the mat. Wes pouted he wouldn't play. As you can see he just layed there and stared at Jess. Victory thought it was fun (for like 5 minutes) Finally when Victory was done playing, we moved Wes back to the middle of the mat and he was happy again. He kicked, and grabbed for the toys and cooed at them.

Farewell

We spent the weekend in Evanston to wish Ben farewell. His talk was great and he will be missed. We know he has made the right decision to serve.

Ben has been called to serve in the Riverside CA mission.
Wes was good at church, he was plum tuckered out.

This is us girls with Elder Gilmore.

Grandpa and Victory waiting to eat.

We will miss you Ben. Good luck and we will see you in two years!!!

Look at me I am 2 Months

Wes was two months old on Saturday. We went and had is pictures taken. He was so good. I was a little worried. When the photographer was ready he was not. He got really fussy and was trying to fall asleep. But we woke him up and he did a great job.

This is my favorite picture. He is sooooo adorable! (yes I am a proud mommy)

I am a little Stud!!

Mom's lil' ANGEL

A Baby Blessing

We had Wes blessed on Saturday. It was very stressful for me but it turned out very nice. We had lots of family travel and the weather cooperated. Ben did the blessing for us. Ben was very nervous but I thought he did a great job. It was very nice and made me cry.

This is my cousin Ben with Wes. Ben did such a great job on the blessing.

Joe and Wes before the blessing. Wes looks just like an angel.

Welcome Our Little One

Ok I thought I would give this blogging thing a try. I'm not sure how well I can keep up. Life has been very crazy since the arrival of our new one. Wesley Gerrard Hickman was finally born after 12 hours of labor, 2 hours of pushing and an emergency c-section. He weighed in at 7lbs 2 oz and 21 inches long. After the swelling in his poor head went down he was only 20 1/4" inches. The poor guy went through a lot. Here are a couple of pictures.
